(More customer reviews)I bought this when it was $25 at a Target years ago. While it does look familiar to the J2 it is pretty innaccurate. No thought went into the landing gear or interior. The profile of the ship is ok. I wouldnt pay the overinflated price scalpers are trying to get. Its just not worth it. Go buy the newly released Moebius Model with an accurate upper level or even a PL with both levels somewhat accurate. With a little work it will be way better than this cheap toy. The Moebius is under a hundred.(can be found for $76 and the PL is around 50-70.Very cheap. Stay away.

Kotobukiya Robocop Edition 209 Model Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I got this one as a gift and I must say that the first thing I thought when I saw it was "This is soo TINY!" and not in a bad way but out of amazement. You could never guess how small this model is by just looking at the photos because it has such a high level of detail that you could easily think it is a life-size ED 209 you're seeing. It has just the right amount of articulation points. the cannon 'arms' swivel up and down, the head-body twists and both legs swing back and forth to pose it as you like. the 'shoulder wings' are also articulated but they do not swing enough as to improve any pose, I would've rather have those articulation points on the knees or at least on the middle toes but it is nothing to cry about. The thing you MUST take into consideration is that if you plan to also buy KOTOBUKIYA ROBOCOP MODEL KIT,they will not look good together since they are not both made at the same scale. Robocop will tower over ED 209 so bad luck for those of us who wanted to re-enact the movie scene. That's the main reason why I haven't bought yet that KOTOBUKIYA ROBOCOP MK 2 MODEL KIT but I know I will nevertheless 'cause those three are officialy Clasic Hollywood Robots and no movie fan should miss the chance to own them.

It is really fun to shoot, and it never hurts. It doesn't have any sharp edges. I've only had it a couple of days, so we don't know yet how durable it is. Solid and fascinating! Written by an almost five year-old and his mom.

The Day the Earth Stood Still GORT 16in Collectors Figure Review

(More customer reviews)I went back and forth over whether to purchase this. I have the solid metal 5 inch Gort, very cool, as well as the wind up Gort so I figured...maybe...we'll see.
Let me explain. I wasn't looking to accumulate Gort's...I just saw them over time and liked 'em...so, I got 'em. I do love the 50's sci-fi genre. Reminds me of when I used to watch the "4 o'clock movie" after school in the mid 70's. I now have most of them on DVD. "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Earth vs The Flying Saucers", just to name a few...can't beat 'em...great stuff!
Well, I bought this Gort. It's BIG! (keep that in mind when thinking of where you're going to put it). Overall...it's growing on me (no pun intended) but, you really have to think about whether you want to spend the money for this one...not to mention the shipping. I priced it on at least a half dozen sites just to see if this one was "really out there" and the prices were all the same. So, unless you find someone on eBay selling one cheaper...it is what it is. By the way, neither of the sites I visited mentioned what it was made of. I figured it was resin and, unless I'm mistaken, it is. It's not heavy at all.
For what it's worth, here's my take on this. The product is cool. The price is a joke. But, we all like different things. So, if you have a couple of extra bucks just eating a hole in your pocket for this one...go for it. I look at it this way, if it makes you happy and you can spare the bucks...have a blast!
It IS pretty cool... once you get beyond the sticker shock.

If someone is selling it here new, it is from unsold stock, and very rare. Nice kit, comes with paper instruction, all parts, and ready to be painted. It has some parts that are already chromed. As finished it is 8 1/2" in height. Robby is from the 1956 movie "Forbidden Planet". There is a newer version of this robot in a model kit released recently, but I prefer this classic style look and box and am glad you can still find it at Amazon.

Star Wars Transformers Crossovers Jedi Starfighter to Anakin Skywalker Review

I noticed the joints are starting to get a little loose already, and it has only been since Christmas, but I guess that just means he really likes the toy, and has used it so much, it can't keep up with him.

Reel Toys 18 Inch Light-Up Eyes Poseable Action Figure Terminator 2 T-800 Endoskeleton Review

According to the one I received and other reviews and pictures I've seen, the head, jaw, and several of the hydraulic cylinders(made from plastic of course) are bent. The ones pictured on the covering box also have bent cylinderes. The arms are really flexable, but the neck, hip, and legs can barely be moved. The movement of the hip and legs are restrained by the cylinders, but I'm not sure why the neck is so stiff. Compared to the 18 inch Robocop figure of the same price also released from NECA, this figure feels cheaply made probably because there are more moving parts and details on this one. Nonetheless, it's a cool collectable for those that like The Terminator.

You can pose his little arms! Ufortunately, the batteries were dead when I recieved it, so I have not heard his voice yet. He arrived quickly and was packaged well. He is a great addition to growing collection of little robots on my desk!

Doctor Who Tardis Talking Money Bank Review

(More customer reviews)I dont know if the bank I recieved was just a dud or not, but it only woked ONE time! I opened the Tardis door & it talked - I closed the Tardis door & it made the engine sound & the blue light on top flashed. I opened the door again - it started to talk, but stopped. I closed the door - nothing. No sound, no light on top. It never worked again. no talking - no light - no sound of any kind. Not only that, if you remove the coin door in the bottom & look inside it, all the circuitry that controls the lights & sounds are exposed to the coin chamber. Meaning when you drop a coin thru the slot, the coins hit/bounce off the circuitry & wires. (that's not what happened to mine, though. I hadn't put any coins in it yet when it stopped working) But I can easily see how a properly functioning bank (in the beginning) would soon become broken from the constant repetition of coins striking the circuitry. It's a great looking Tardis - but if you're really concerned that it WORKS - be warned - it could be better made.

Once transformed, it becomes a very large robot (compared to all the other deluxe transformers). The only let-down is that the head doesn't turn around (just forwards-backwards), but it is very movie-accurate.
I needed to read the leaflet so i could understand how to transform it. Once you transform it, you'll understand. My daughter likes it, even when the character curses a lot. :)

Transformers Deluxe Dead End Review

(More customer reviews)I avoided Sideways for a long time because of mixed reviews, the fact that he's not a licensed Audi R8, and his skinny looking legs and goat feet. With the Dead End black repaint I broke down and picked him up since the price was right. Other than Armorhide, there are few deluxe transformers that I think are any good and this one is now my favorite! Just so much detail and the colors are just right, a perfect menacing look for a Decepticon. I love the purple tint to the windows, the engine detail, the red striping and red-line wheel accents, and the "wings" in robot mode. A lot of folks complain about the skinny legs and the tiny feet but if you transform him so his legs bend backwards like a chicken he not only looks like a cool Robocop-esque machine but his tires now act as heels and the whole thing really comes together perfectly. The only gripe with him is the head sculpt which comes out looking like he's wearing a scuba hood, and the fake tire on his left hand. You can just remove the wheel if you don't like it. Again, awesome detail in robot mode, a very nice sports car mode, and did I mention he's fun to tranform? You start by pressing the grill to bring down a spring-loaded chest plate and spring-loaded tires...way too cool for a deluxe class figure. For all those who are on the fence with this mold or those waffling between Sideways and this guy, pick this guy up today! I'd have to say this one's the best transformer for the money that I've found to date.
