(More customer reviews)Very nice, fun detailed Transformer, but it broke as I was installing the pieces onto it.
The waist part was incredibly loose, kept detaching itself from the torso. There was no way for the figure to stand up straight. And one point trying to transform it the stomach joint just broke. it still holds into place, but now it's even more loose than it was before... and it was pretty loose already.
Otherwise it's a great toy, the robot is nice, the transformation is very complex, the car mode looks incredible.

They are great toys for those who loved them back in the '80s, for those who became fans after that and love the originals, and it's also a great gift for a kid today, so they can get into the Transformers universe.

Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen Movie Human Alliance Bumblebee with Sam Witwicky Review

(More customer reviews)Bumblebee is arguably the most popular Transformer behind Optimus Prime. Even Megatron (at least these days) doesn't hold a candle. We've seen many different versions of this Autobot so how does this one stand up? **Note: This is NOT the deluxe version of Bumble that sells for less than ten bucks. This is the Human Alliance Bumblebee - an altogether bigger and higher quality toy. **
For Kids:
In either robot or vehicle mode this is a quality toy with lots of detail and fun to play with. The inclusion of the Sam Witwicky action figure is a bonus for kids as well. I'm far from a kid (on the outside) these days but I remember loving the G1 transformers and the little action figure you could put inside - pretending you're that little guy with a big robot pal. The human factor is often forgotten these days. The main downside for kids is that the transformation is hard and like many of these movie transformers there are probably many kids who wouldn't have the patience for it.
For Adults:
Again, this is a bigger more detailed version. The car is top notch and while the interior could have more detail that it has an interior at all is a bonus considering that's a first for this line. This human alliance Bumblebee is almost twice the size of the deluxe version and a lot of that additional detail shows in the clear windows and seats, steering wheel and interior of the car.
In robot mode, words may not be able to describe it (I'll try to have some pics up). There is so much detail in this guy that I'd compare to the new Leader Class Optimus Prime as far as screen accuracy. Let's just say that this is the best representation of movie Bumblebee I've ever seen and I own the huge Ultimate Bumblebee... He's got the most accurate head sculpt and includes the battle mask that no other version I own does! Despite initial misgivings I found that the seats were well hidden in robot mode (they're out there but placed in such a way as to be unobtrusive). The back bumpers become the knee caps and another first (aside from the battle mask) the chest actually has two rotating sections to make the "tilted" look of his "pecks". Even that his right hand is a blaster does not make a big difference as it is so well done (and believe me, I've been upset by that blaster hand in many versions - why not a rotatable hand / weapon?) and looks so good.
His articulation is off the charts too. Tranformers have good articulation and this guy has great! I can't think of a pose I can't get him into (31 points at least). Flip his battle mask up or down, place his missiles where you want, he looks good.
For adult collectors the additional 2.5" Sam figure is not such a great deal. Sure he's there and sure he's pretty well areticulted but you have a giant robot to deal with. It should be said though that the robot has several options to carry the human - in his hand, on his shoulder or in his seat. That may be fun for you or the kids.
Maybe 30 plus dollars seems like a lot but maybe not once you get your hands on him. Transform and roll out with this Bumblebee. He's great and puts past versions to shame. His transformation is challenging but rewarding.

Boys’ Transformers Bumblebee Basic Costume Review

(More customer reviews)I recently was so excited to find the costume my son wanted for Halloween this year was on sale. Was it too good to be true? YES! I did not get the same costume that was shown on the website. The whole bottom of the costume was a dark gray color vs. the cool bumblebee detail as shown. It looks rediculous. On top of that, the costume was not delivered in a box so the mask was all bent and deformed. I am incredibly disappointed. I expect to get what appears on the site, not a cheap imitation.

Transformers Human Alliance - Bumblebee Review

(More customer reviews)This toy is arguably the best rendition of the 2007 Transformers movie Bumblebee made to date. The vehicle mode is large (~1:24 scale) and features a somewhat realistic interior for the included Sam Witwicky figure. The toy feels quite solid and sturdy. Transformation to robot mode is fairly involved and therefore probably not suited for younger children. The robot mode differs somewhat from the look in the movie and is hindered somewhat by the interaction with Sam, but it's a still a fun toy that kids of all ages can enjoy.

(More customer reviews)I gave this to my son, who is 4, for Christmas, which was two weeks ago. As of now we have lost a door and the top to the car. He loves this toy but does not like how it keeps falling apart. Even when I was taking it out of the packaging a door/arm came off. The toy is rated as easy to transform and for 4+ years, but I have to put it from the robot to the car for him (though he can put it from the car to the robot just fine). I think if I knew how flimsy it was I probably wouldn't have bought it. The good news is my son is still playing with it and takes it to bed at night....So in the meantime, I'll just keep looking for those pieces....

My 7 1/2 year old son is very frustrated because when this toy is transformed into car mode, the back wheels don't spin. Sideswipe's left leg also doesn't snap into place underneath the car. My son says he'll never buy a toy from the Fast Action Battlers series again.

Transformers Deluxe Classic Bumblebee Figure Review

(More customer reviews)While this is not the greatest version of Bumblebee of all time (that goes to the Pretender version), this is still a nice toy. No longer allowed to be a VW Bug due to Volkwagen refusing their cars to be "war toys", this Bumblebee is a composite of various compact/cruiser cars. The transformation is OK, although there is no way great to sort the "kibble" of the toy, as the doors and hood sections of car mode detract from the robot mode. As a nice touch, the vintage heat-sensitive stickers, originally to prove that a transforming robot was an actual Transformer brand toy, returns and is place exactly where it should on the robot; the chest. If the doors are swung out of the way, Bumblebee can attach minicons onto his forearms.
Bumblebee does not have a weapon, but does come with a "jet pack", which transforms into a jet ski on a trailer for the car mode. Note that one joint on the jet pack is quite stiff and one of the sides will keep falling off due to trying to convert the jet pack to its jet ski trailer mode. You might want to take a scerwdriver to loosen it.
If you don't like yellow transformers, you can wait for the upcoming Cliffjumper figure which have a similar mode to Bumblebee, but will be red and released in February 2007. Otherwise, this will definitely be a great addition to your Transformers collection.

Transformers Movie Voyager Optimus Prime Review

(More customer reviews)This guy definitely doesn't look as authentic as the leader class version in robot mode. I'll summarize a few of the bad points for the robot mode:
-The entire front end up of the truck to the roof of the windshield folds up and creates a bulky huge backpack looking feature on his back! The lazy design pretty much slaps you in the face here.
-The front end is re-replicated on his chest even though you can see the windshield from the truck mode on his back. Looks TERRIBLE and is obviously a very, very sloppy design.
-In several places, the figure has parts that sort of float freely. The shoulderpads that don't snap into place and the wheel covers that fold up on his feet come to mind.
-The weapons look fairly strange also. I've always traditionally seen prime with one cannon (even in the movie), but here he has two identical spring loaded guns.
Apart from these bad points, there are some good qualities:
-This version is considerably more durable than the leader class version. There aren't as many small parts involved with the transformation, and the only really fragile parts are on his legs.
-Of all the voyager class figures I've tried, this one's transformation is by far the easiest and least complicated. After a couple tries it should take 20-30 seconds or less to complete the transformation.
-The bulky front-end backpack balances the figure, making him a bit more poseable.
-Truck mode looks decent.
If you want a Prime figure for the kids this wins out over the leader class, but for any collector other than the most meticulous, I'd say this is passable.

Transformers Premium Series - Bumblebee Review

(More customer reviews)I finally found this premium edition at a local Walmart the other day. Definately the hardest one to locate out of the new bunch of premium edition figures that Hasbro has put out. I thought the new paint app. would be much better next to the original, boy was I mistaken. As soon as I got home I compared the premium bumblebee to the standard one I have and the difference is very minor. The supposed new gold metallic finish isn't that much greater in comparison to the original. All you get is a little darker finish ( yellow ). The black stripping has changed a little ( big deal ). Now the gas cap and the windshield wipers are painted silver ( wow ). The paint app. really isn't all that metallic to be honest. Probably due to the fact that Hasbro always seems to do crappy paint jobs on all of their figures as of late. My major gripe and advice to all other collectors out there is why didnt Hasbro just make this the standard Bumblebee from the very begining. Actually thats a dumb question, because they want more money " duh ". Not saying this Bumblebee isnt decent or anything. If you dont have one yet try to get this one instead of the regular one if you can find him. If you already have the standard edition I would recommend, if you can comparing the two and making sure that it is absolutely worth youre hard earned cash first.

Kids Transformers Bumblebee Gloves - Child Std. Review

(More customer reviews)Don't buy these gloves unless you are purchasing them for your TODDLER or younger. IT is NOT a child's glove as it is way too small. Your 4+ year old child will not get their hands into the gloves to be able to enjoy them. This item should say it is for kids UP TO 4yrs.
Secondly, do NOT purchase these from Costume Craze as they have lousy customer service and will not reimburse you for shipping and handling costs when they should refund your money in FULL since these gloves do not fit children over 4yrs of age. They can alsways return them back to Disguise, Inc. and get THEIR money back....
Also, they SEW the gloves to the cardboard label and if you are not aware of this, or remove them incorrectly, you will damage the gloves. Too bad this product sucks, cause my boy really wanted them and I had to send them back. Real disappointment.

(More customer reviews)I've bought the Bumblebee and Soundwave pack because they were the transformers i liked most when i was a kid.
These figures DO NOT TRANSFORM, and you must have that in mind if you buy them for a kid.
However, they are poseable and you can twist their arms and their heads around. They are very stable and they will keep standing up in almost any position; they also seem to be made of some kind of rubber.
The main reason why i like these little robots is that they look exactly like the cartoons. Not like the transformers G1 toys. Instead, they look chunky, cartoonish and fun. Bumblebee has a smirk on his face just like he did on the animated series. Soundwave seems to be pointing at himself like asking "Who, me ?". They seem to be having a lot of fun and i've just blue-tacked them to the top of my computer monitor as an ornament. I will probably get all the other figures.
