Transformers Human Alliance - Bumblebee Review

Transformers Human Alliance - Bumblebee
Average Reviews:

This toy is arguably the best rendition of the 2007 Transformers movie Bumblebee made to date. The vehicle mode is large (~1:24 scale) and features a somewhat realistic interior for the included Sam Witwicky figure. The toy feels quite solid and sturdy. Transformation to robot mode is fairly involved and therefore probably not suited for younger children. The robot mode differs somewhat from the look in the movie and is hindered somewhat by the interaction with Sam, but it's a still a fun toy that kids of all ages can enjoy.

Transformers Hunts for the Decepticons Series 6 Inch Tall Deluxe Class Robot Action Figure - Decepticon AXOR with Arms that Converts to Axe (Vehicle Mode: Hunter Car)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Badass. That's Axor in one word. For a toy that was born out of Transformers Animated Lockdown via Revenge of The Fallen Movie Lockdown painted as a tribute to G1 Axer, he is one heck of an awesome repaint/retool. This is a deception car done right. Silvery gray paint job, crimson vent detailing, covered in blue spikes. Axor's vehicle mode is a mix of best of late 60s to early 80s American muscle cars; Sloping rear ending in a spoiler, sexy curvy fenders, wedge front, low and sleek, looks fast just sitting in park. A bounty huntin' muscle machine!
His transformation is fairly easy as he basically just unfolds out from under himself, just a bit fiddly when it gets to his arms and shoulder pads. But he's chock full of articulation (3 joints in his neck alone must set a Transformer record) Axor is TALL. Tall as or taller than as most voyager class figures. The detailing on him is just awesome, a piston gimmick in his axe arm and turning camshafts in his legs. The piecemeal asymmetry in his upper body really adds to the rough and tumble bounty hunter characterization. And awesomely, the air-scoop/engine that mounts on his arm can also be interchanged with RoTF Movie Deluxe Ratchet's "EMP blast missile launcher" in an homage to the same characters/toys of Transformers Animated. (the weapon's peg is even the same shape of TfA Ratchet's war wound) Sadly though it seems most of the run had issues where the engine doesn't mount on Axor's own arm snugly, or at all. His axe hand, regular hand and other pointy bits are soft rubber so nobody's gonna lose and eye. His malevolent red eye piping glows with a spectacular wickedness. Look out Boba Fett there's a real bounty hunter in town now!
If you liked the either version of Lockdown you owe it to yourself to pick this one up. Durable enough for kids and a great showpiece for adult collectors. He's a toy worth picking up, entirely a deal for the 10-15 bucks he's generally going for. Now, has anybody seen an Autobot medic around here lately...And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.

Unlike most masters of bladed weapons, AXOR could care less about form. He is a whirlwind of destruction, caring only about seeing his enemies in pieces - as long as those pieces are still large enough to claim a bounty on. He especially looks forward to claiming the bounty on AUTOBOT RATCHET - and taking the healer's weapon for himself.

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class Action Figure Oil Pan Review

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class Action Figure Oil Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I think I was sold on the paint job first. Electric tangerine with white speed stripes down the side and black trim. Oil Pan is a repaint of Breakdown. The car appears to be based on a Lamborghini.
His transformation is a bot tricky the first few times, but clever and gives him a bit of a different look that other scout class car-robots. He does however end up with a bit of a backpack in robot mode. I love the look of the orange, white and black with purple. Brings back a lot of touches of the original 80s Stunticons and other Decepticon sports cars. Oddly his Decepticon symbol is a G1 era symbol and not a movie style symbol. Oil pan is fairly posable for a scout.
He's a well built, durable toy perfect for kids, maybe even younger children and certainly worth it if you can find him for a reasonable price (around 5 bucks). Adult collectors may pass, especially if they already own Breakdown but if you can get a deal on him why not add the little cremesicle to your shelf?
And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.

OIL PAN is used to running, and he's become quite good at it over the years. He's the ultimate defensive driver -- using traffic as a shield against AUTOBOT laser fire, and disappearing down exit ramps before his pursuers even realize where he's gone. The pair of AUTOBOTS chasing him may think he's trapped, but he'll be away and free before they know it.

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class Action Figure Hubcap Review

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class Action Figure Hubcap
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Hubcap is such and awesomely done toy. I love quirky/retro vehicle transformers. Hubcap is based on a 1930s-style hot rod, done in a bright crimson and chrome paint scheme. He is pretty solid in vehicle mode and all the panels pegs together nicely. He's highly detailed for his size; chrome exhaust pipes, retro grill and lamps. Even down to the air valves on the tires, old style latch on the trunk and gas cap.
The transformation is fairly simplistic, easy for even the youngest kids with a few walk-throughs. The robot mode is fairly standard for a scout class car-robot, although I do love the look of the retro grill/chest panel. I would love to see a similar mold in the deluxe class, but that doesn't mean Hubcap isn't a great little bot. Because he is, a great little bot. I would definitely pick him up for a reasonable price. He adds a bit of fun and character to a kid or adult's collection. "I'm a man of means by no means, King of the road..."
And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.

HUBCAP never liked the way BRIMSTONE pushed other robots around, and he never made any effort to hide his disapproval. The two robots have clashed more times than either of them can count. Now their rivalry has moved to the urban drag strips of Earth. BRIMSTONE may consider himself king of the road, but HUBCAP wont give up until the so-called king is just another wreck. Race into action with this fearsome HUBCAP figure! In robot mode, this fighter is as tough as they come...but he's got speed on his side, too. When its time to chase down his enemies, convert him to muscle car vehicle mode so he can tear up the streets in hot pursuit! I was very disappointed with the Twist and Change Robot. The one I thought I was getting was the one in the photo instead I got a smaller one that was very different then the one in the photo. I needed the yellow one that was pictured for a Christmas present so all the boys had a similar just different color Twist and Change Robot. I paid extra so the robot would get here before Christmas. It did get here in time but because of the misleading information I could not use the robots and had to find different Christmas presents for my nephews. They were also disappointed that they didn't get the robots. Please use photos that represent the product better.

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Hasbro Legends Mini Action Figure Ravage Review

Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Hasbro Legends Mini Action Figure Ravage
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I watched a couple episodes of the 80's transformers cartoons via the Hub, and just fell in love with the character of Ravage. I guess it's because I love cats. His most posable and accurate toy is the one that came with Universe Hound. Unable to find that anywhere, I instead bought this. His robot mode does not disappoint. It has articulation in 3 places in all 4 limbs, and his guns are articulated. His tail can also move up and down, which comes to a grand total of 14 points of articulation. However, his alt mode looks ridiculous. It doesn't help that his transformation is rather complex for a legends class figure, either. I don't even know what to call his vehicle mode, although the box calls it an "entry mode", whatever the heck that means. I just call it nap time. However, he's pretty much worth having around if you're only in it for the robot mode. However, don't even think about it if you're looking for something to transform into something amazing. This doesn't do that at all.

Let's just say this version of payload is the best one that they have done.It is basically a Long Haul figure repainted. The transformation is the same as are the features. However I think the color scheme is a very cool and unique combination. The swords show up alot better being red instead of clear and is very durable. The transformation level on Payload is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is minor difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some. The legs are the trickiest part when transforming. They fold under and up,but with some patience it's not a problem.Payload goes great right along side all the other constructicons. This is a great transformer to have in your collection, after all I'm sure Long Haul would love to have a brother to help him out.Bottom line Payload Rocks!!!

Titanium Series Transformers 3 Inch Metal Robot Masters Bumble-Bee Review

Titanium Series Transformers 3 Inch Metal Robot Masters Bumble-Bee
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
No, these don't transform and they're only part metal/part plastic or rubber, but they are a great bunch of fun little figures.
These figures are actually very detailed and well painted. They turn at the waist, their arms can move up and down, heads turn from side to side, and their hands rotate as well. Their guns are removable and generally interchangeable between characters.
Their primary colors are painted in a neat reflective fleck paint, and the autobot/deceptacon logos are actually screen printed on. Lots of Transformer toys come with a logo sticker. So that's a nifty little bonus I wasn't expecting.
One downside is that the "stand" they come with doesn't really attach itself to the figures. They don't have the typical hole in foot / nub on stand set up. Even though the figures really do stand quite well on their own I was disappointed in that. The original Transformer toys from the 80's are great to collect or keep, and even some of the remakes are very cool too! However they're not so practical for your desk (or even for play if you're an adult or a collector).
At these prices this is a great way to feed your need to buy G1 Transformer figures with out going totally broke! They make great desk toys as well!

Very few Autobots can match Bumblebee for sheer guts. Small but daring, Bumblebee willingly goes where larger, tougher robots wouldn't even consider. Acting as a spy for Optimus Prime, he uses his size as an advantage, going unnoticed where his larger comrades would stick out. Though he is among the bravest and most respected of Autobots, he still idolizes the larger more combat-ready robots, especially Optimus Prime and Prowl.
This fully poseable, die-cast figure is the perfect addition to your collection. Figure measures 3" tall and comes with display stand.

We bought this for our son for Christmas. He loves Transformers but is still too young to really play with the other Transformers toys (He is 3). This was perfect for him! It lights up, makes cool sound effects and transforms into Battle Mode. It also has two missles that shoot out of the front. Our son is able to play with this without any complication.
This is a great toy for older kids too. My 11 year old nephew liked playing with it too! I'll be looking for more Stealth Force Transformers.

I will start off by saying if you are a fan of Ironhide or Bonecrusher this is a must have exclusive 2-pack.Both figures are excellent all around. The Ironhide figure is a repaint of the nest alliance recon Ironhide which in my opinion is the best version done overall. The bonus weapons on this version is amazing.First of all the bumper converts to a missile cannon for one hand and a extra rifle for the other which has a blade attachment for the rifle or Ironhide can use the blade as a weapon by itself. Also cannons that can can be stored to the side or to either arm and a launching missile for the bumper attachment. The durability is an A+ and the poseability is excellent.Acting out battle scenes is no problem whith Ironhide in your corner. The transformation is advanced meaning if you have experience with transformers it is not that difficult. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might need to provide some assistance.Just remember have some patience and you will be fine.As for Bonecrusher the transformation process is also advanced so go by the same guidelines as well.Bonecrusher has some sweet spinning blades while in robot mode for grinding and tearing up anything in his path. The vehicle mode of a Buffalo MPVC vechile is very cool as well. The durability and poseability of Bonecrusher are both an A+.Bottom line Ironhide&Bonecrusher are well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 figures that all transformer fans should enjoy and appreciate to the max.I highly recommend the Fury of Bonecrusher exclusive 2-pack to all transformer fans out there.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!

I will start this off by saying this is one of the coolest transformers out there.Banzitron is more unique in appearence than the usual. His face is a skull with a body outfitted in samurai gear. The combination is a beautiful creation for a refreshing idea. The color scheme is just awesome with black, purple, and neon green. The transformation is not that difficult. When transforming him though on the part where you slide his upper torso to his bottom torso you might have to apply a little pressure for it to slide, but if your careful at the same time you should be okay.Banzitron is very well made and very durable at the same time. The poseability is very good for sitting him out somewhere,or acting out battle scenes. He also comes with two swords, one is in plain sight while the other is actually his tank turret.Bottom line Banzitron is a very well made, durable, unique figure that all transformer fans should add to their collection.I highly recommend this figure to all transformer fans out there!Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently the Hunt for the Decepticons line (along with Generations) was released at a nearby store, and as I was browsing, I came across this guy and figured I'd give him a shot. To my surprise, he's really a great figure. Below are the pros and cons of the figure:
Pros:
- Great transformation, not simple but not too difficult either. He's great for kids and collectors alike.
- Looks great, and his scuba theme (a fairly uncommon theme as of late)works surprisingly well
- Has flippers that flip out from the bottom of his feet, which are very neat and unique.
- Minimal kibble (excess vehicle parts on his back) and for the most part, the kibble there is adds to the robot mode.
- Stands extremely well, he won't fall over easily.
- Both robot and his hovercraft mode hold together extremely well and are very sturdy
- Hovercraft not only looks sharp, but can actually carry most Scout Class figures in the cargo area.
Cons:
- Only one minor complaint, and that is that his guns are just a tad loose in robot mode.
Honestly, I don't have much negative feedback on this figure. He's a truly great update of the old G1 figure and I can't praise him enough. I recommend him for anyone, kids or collectors alike.

SEA SPRAY will come screaming out of the surf, turning the beach into a blasted wasteland with nowhere to hide. Roll out for some serious robot action! This is a pack of 5 legends class figures, which are smaller, simplified versions of their full-sized counterparts. The catch is, this 5-pack makes deco modifications to the items' general releases. Optimus is now almost entirely red, but has nice metallic paint on his grille and smokestacks. Also, his autobot symbol has been moved from his hip to his upper chest. The Fallen now has a lot more orange on him, and a brighter shade of black. Jetfire is nothing special, all that really happened was his limbs turned blue and his decepticon symbol replaced with an autobot symbol. Starscream is now metallic all over. However, the highlight of this set is really Megatron. Unlike his general release, he has a heavily detailed face. It is VERY movie-accurate. The set is a K-mart exclusive, but well worth driving over to your local K-mart to get.

Just got this toy and I could sum up my review in one word: AWESOME! This toy is arguably the best of the Transformers movie line. It is on par with ROTF Prime and maybe a little better. His transformation is not that difficult and his articulation is through the roof. This toy is 100 times better than deluxe Jazz. He is very poseable and can get into some cool action poses. The motorcycle transforms into his weapon that looks like it did in the movie. He is also really big in robot mode. He is as tall as voyager Ironhide and Ratchet (which he should have been in the first place). However, his vehicle mode is about the same size as deluxe Jazz. One of the coolest gimmicks he has is that his visor is retractable. He has a little bit of kibble on his back that make up the roof and rear of his vehicle mode but the total awesomeness of this toy will make it seem very minor. Ok so Hasbro has finally listened to the consumers and made another awesome toy right up there with Leader Prime and Starscream. Now if we could just get a Leader Blackout/Grindor, Bonecrusher, and Fallen!!!

Transformers Deluxe Movie Collection - Battle Blade Bumblebee Review

Transformers Deluxe Movie Collection - Battle Blade Bumblebee
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I gotta say, at first I was really disappointed in Battle Blade Bumblebee (hereafter BBB). I find the figure on the whole rather "fiddly". That is to say, I think he's much harder to transform than the original movie Deluxe Concept Camaro Bumblebee (hereafter DCCB), which I also own.
The robot back to car transformation of BBB really confused the heck out of me. Hasbro kept the lower-leg automorph transformation from DCCB, but they've changed the upper legs so that you really have to line them up just so to put the rear end of the car back together, and there's a big hollow place under the rear windshield (this is where the cannon was held in car mode on DCCB, but BBB's weapons are built into his arms, so he doesn't have a separate cannon). When I try to push the car doors back in to complete the transformation to car mode, because of the hollow spot, I very frequently end up crumpling the whole rear end in on itself and then I have to line everything back up just so and try again. I haven't broken anything, and the fig's solid enough that I don't think I'll break it, but it's just, as I said before, "fiddly".
I absolutely love DCCB's upper-body transformation. The automorph that swings the doors/wings up as you swing the chest down is so satisfying, it's just _brilliant_. Also, the way the doors/wings end up sitting close together on his back is very screen-accurate, and there's no kibble or backpack. Every car part becomes robot armor somewhere on his body, and the whole upper body ends up being very compact and solid when you finish. The only complaints I've had about the figure are the poor head sculpt and the disproportionally large roof parts as forearm guards.
BBB's upper-body transformation is comparatively rather uninspired. His doors/wings sit very far apart on his back and he has a backpack (made from the whole roof of the car) that barely supports itself on a peg that doesn't really peg in, more like "rests" in. His chest pieces are similarly wobbly. Every time I pick him up I screw up his chest and his backpack. Maybe I just need to learn how/where to grab him, but his whole upper body just doesn't feel nearly as solid as DCCB's.
As far as movie-accuracy, I already mentioned the wings/doors---I think they're all wrong on BBB. But I think just about everywhere else, though, BBB wins. I never had any complaint before, personally, about the look of DCCB's chest, but I have to admit they've done a better job making BBB's chest really pop (as wobbly as it is). And of course he finally has the screen accurate forearm guards. When considering him purely on looks, I can even forgive the backpack, since you most often look at the figure from the front.
So, I guess, to recap, DCCB is the clear winner on a solid, satisfying transformation from car to robot and back, and he's a figure I'll keep and continue to enjoy playing with. When considering looks alone for displaying him on my desk next to ROTF Leader Prime, as dissatisfied as I am with him generally, I think BBB does win out in the end.
One more thing: the packaging for this toy lists it as suitable for ages five and up. I do not personally know any five-year-olds that would be able to figure out how to transform this toy without a _lot_ of adult supervision. This toy was clearly made for older kids and geeky nostalgic adults like myself.
