(More customer reviews)Very nice, fun detailed Transformer, but it broke as I was installing the pieces onto it.
The waist part was incredibly loose, kept detaching itself from the torso. There was no way for the figure to stand up straight. And one point trying to transform it the stomach joint just broke. it still holds into place, but now it's even more loose than it was before... and it was pretty loose already.
Otherwise it's a great toy, the robot is nice, the transformation is very complex, the car mode looks incredible.

So when he asked for this I didn't know where to find it since it hasn't been in stores for some time now, but there it was on Amazon, so we got it. The price is ok, but when my child saw it, the look on his face made up for how much it cost. He loves it, and it is sturdy and well made. If you like transformers this is definately one for the collection.

Transformers Movie Leader Decepticon Brawl Review

His articulation is decent, but it's not hard to put him in his movie pose, arm extended as he fires round after round... if you loved Brawl's menacing presence in the film, this is the toy for you. Ignore the mis-Transformed pictures that are often shown, his head isn't visible in tank mode.

Transformers 3" Barricade Keychain Review

He's about 3 inches tall, so, he can threaten your smurfs, should you be so inclined. He's also apparently appealing to cats, who like to munch on his dainty little fingers. Mine's not terrifically old, so probably a newer run, and to be honest, the plastic is more pliable than in the originals that came out with the movie--my Bumblebee feels a bit firmer than Mr. Barricade here.
Arms move at the shoulders, the head turns, the waist turns, and the hips and knees bend. No elbow bend, alas. Still, this way he gets to declaim dramatically, one arm flung over his head. Or both, if you want to give him that "this is spartaaaaaa" look.
Paint detailing is minimal, so you'll probably want to have your silver Testors and a fine brush ready to pick out some of the details, notably in the face/mouth/eyes area. Let's face it though: none of the keychain line were tremendous in painting, old run or new.
Overall, a cute trinket, that with a little paint and TLC, can be spiffed up, but if you want better detail, go for one of the larger figures. Still, he's way better at guarding my keys than Bumblebee.

Transformers Movie 2 Leader Jetfire Review

This figure is abound w/versatility: w/panels that become prime's firearm (in jet charged mode: that's a whole 'nother story altogether!), multiple accessories and a third mode that combines W/leader Optimus, this figure really delivers @ MSRP of 44.99. Although the robot gears and anatomy are eyesore-inducing (aka the phenomenon of "Kibble" as we collectors refer to it), the functionality of Jetfire is more than enough to compensate for it. Has excellent articulation for an item that undergoes a fair deal of transformation (though, in my opinion, Voyager Mixmaster takes the cake for metamorphosis/articulation ratio). The Mech-Alive gimmick is fairly intricate despite its limited range, and the speech gimmick does the trick (however, I thought Hasbro could've strived for more than just a single, eponymous line of dialogue for these leader-class figures).
And lastly, the fusing you can do w/him and optimus is true fun realized: a MASSIVE figure when completed (but more range of motion for the limbs could've been taken into account, but hey, this is Transformers we're dealing with here! We don't need to focus on details, just the BIG picture!) This figure will really add a sense of gravity to wherever it's displayed, at the office (if you don't get into any trouble w/it!), the home, or specifically, in your bedroom or home theater.
Overall, you're going to have a blast with this figure (especially if you already own Leader Prime!), and it is in my strongest opinion that you snatch him up before you have to wait weeks (maybe months!) before you get a second chance at this triple changer of a transformer! AUTOBOTS, TRANSFORM... AND ROLL OUT!

PEYTON MANNING NFL "PRO-BOT" ROBOT ACTION FIGURE Review

(More customer reviews)It is Super Bowl Sunday, and this is a very special review. Now these Pro Bots are used in the games on TV. When you hear the announcer say "NFL Football is sponserd by:" then whatever the sponsors are (UPS, BK, Staples etc) one of these will appear on the screen and do exercises. The gimmick is that, the football helmet can flip over revealing the players head. When you push a button on the back, the head folds in revealing the football helmet. They are available for many players but not all of them. I am a Dol-Fan (a fan of the Dolphins) but I like this one because when it was Super Bowl XLI (41) I was rooting for the Colts. So that's it. I recomend getting this and no more reviews outta me today because of the Super Bowl.

Transformers Leader Megatron Review

(More customer reviews)Like the ROTF Leader Class Prime, this Megatron is a big improvement over his first movie Leader Class incarnation. The detail is much improved, I like that he turns into something that we have seen Megatron as in past cartoons, and the design in robot mode is much closer to that which is seen in the original G1 cartoon. The tank mode is awesome, almost looking better than robot mode. The transformation is actually not that bad, something that if a little kids wants to they could do. The only problem is maybe needing a little muscle. Having Hugo Weaving's voice is cool. The cannon noise gets a little annoying with every time you turn the gun arm. Overall, a pretty good Megatron.

Transformers Leader Optimus Prime Review

(More customer reviews)When I first spied leaked photos of this figure, it was difficult to imagine they could make such a toy transform tightly into the truck that we all know. This one must be seen (or better, physically handled) to be believed! The transformation is amazing, and more intricate than anything before seen in the movie lines (and probably in any Transformers line, actually, 'cept perhaps some of the Masterpieces).
Plastics seem to be a little better than the first movie Prime, and the paints are finely done as well. Super poseable and stable. Parts are easy to pop-off, but pop back easily as well (which if you accept, puts the durability to at least 4 stars). Sounds are improved, with a line from Peter Cullen this time round. And the best thing? It's probably as movie accurate as possible, short of making a bigger toy!
Negatives? Well, the wheels are now plastic (not rubber), and have a habit of going out of line in truck mode. The fingers/thumb are no longer articulated. The head doesn't really look up (mainly side-to-side). The Transformation will test most adults, let alone children! And the way some pieces pop-off may be annoying to some buyers.
Despite the negatives, though, this is one amazing figure, and can be very highly recommended. If you only get one Revenge of the Fallen figure, then make it Leader class Optimus Prime!
