(More customer reviews)The item for sale here is Polar Lights kit #5025, Original sculpt kit, premiere release, and this box was on the market in 1999. If someone is selling it here new, it is from unsold stock, and very rare. Nice kit, comes with paper instruction, all parts, and ready to be painted. It has some parts that are already chromed. As finished it is 8 1/2" in height. Robby is from the 1956 movie "Forbidden Planet". There is a newer version of this robot in a model kit released recently, but I prefer this classic style look and box and am glad you can still find it at Amazon.

The Robot Claw Reach Extender, Assorted Colors Review

(More customer reviews)This robot claw is a lot of fun. It's especially good for a child like mine who has a fine motor delay. It strengthens his finger muscles and he uses it everywhere....to pick up toys and socks on the floor and he uses it out in the yard picking up rocks and stuff in the yard. He did break one, however, by picking up a rock that was too heavy and it broke the claw off and we had to buy another one but it's not REALLY supposed to be used for that. So we just warned him to use it wisely and since then, the new one is still in one piece. Makes a fun gift for any kid! Highly recommend!

(More customer reviews)I have given this grabber claw to five different kids (a girl age 2 1/2, a boy age 3, two boys age 4, and a boy age 5), and they all love it. In fact, I eventually bought my son a 2nd one because he wanted one for each hand! (I've even used it to reach something that fell behind the couch.) Makes a nice addition to a birthday gift. It's a great bit of simple fun for a very reasonable price.

(More customer reviews)This new Wow Wee Robot is the 1st attempt by Wow Wee to use voice command that works about 60% of the time but the "Finger" switches work good for the things Joebot can do . Joebot is made to walk on hard surfaces and really doesn't move well on carpets . This robot reminds me of my Rex The Dawg from Wow Wee. I would say that Joebot is worth about $70 tops new and is enjoyable to me an old geek :)
