(More customer reviews)My 9 yr old has a SpiDog (spiderman iDog) which is adorable, and while the speaker obviously is not top notch, it's cute, it's portable, and it has its novelty appeal. So, when I saw the pink tattoo iDog AMP'D I decided to get one for myself for the cute factor and the portability. I also figured the stereo speakers would be a nice upgrade from the original iDogs.
What a disappointment! As you can tell by my video, the movement of the paw tapping and head movement is so noisey that it greatly takes away from the music! It makes it impossible to listen to music at low volumes!
It truly is awful!

(More customer reviews)my kids wanted i-dogs this christmas.. and my 4yr old absolutely loved this dalmation one! they are really charming! and it's a great accessory to the iPod, mp3 or any audio player! the speaker isn't very loud but at just the right volume since they listen to their iPods very often! and they get to still hook up the headphones so that they listen to their music privately yet is still puts on a show with dancing and lights!

(More customer reviews)This idog is awesome! It wiggles it's ears and moves it's head with the beat of the music your listening to. It's an awesome toy. I own two of them. The black one they have here and this one. I got both of them at Wal-Mart for $29.99. They're overpriced here. I recommend ebay. The people on there sell them pretty cheap. I'm 12 years old and this is one of the only toys I have not grown out of. I don't suggest getting one of these for anyone under 7 or older than 15.

(More customer reviews)Although my son enjoyed this toy in the hour after he opened it, he has hardly played with it since. Plugged into the MP3 player, it wasn't loud enough to hear. With a CD player, we could hear it, but the sound was terrible. It is a cute idea, but not well executed.

She says that I give her too much love and attention by the signs when i push her nose twice! Girls will love this and guys who love music but dont want a very large speaker this is perfect for them! (More customer reviews)This puppy was first of all adorable. When I opened the package up and put batteries in it, it made a cute little bark and glowed to show that it was ready to play.
Now I've heard that the microphone wasn't really good- I'd have to disagree. The microphone perfectly suited my needs. To those of you who blast music in their cars, it may not work as well, but otherwise its fine.
The one thing I was disapointed about was how much it moved, which was not very much. It often appears as if he doesn't like the music and remains motionless.
I would reccomend this as a gift to a teenager who loves music- it matches perfectly with a green Ipod!

(More customer reviews)I bought this for a friend who is a big Spiderman fan as well as ipod owner. It ended up being more fun than I bargained. I thought it would simply play music from the ipod. You have to program it and it takes on a personality based on the music you "feed" it. It lights and dances when it's pleased and even whines if it's neglected. It's fun and, dare I say it, cute.

(More customer reviews)I saw this little guy dancing to the music in a store, and the next thing you know, he had come home with me! idog is a real cutie. Though you could use him as an ipod mono speaker -- and yes, I consider the speaker pretty robust for such a diminutive pooch -- I think he shines the brightest as a palm-sized portable light show for your music. The LED light display on his face is something to see, with a variety of colors and animated patterns that adapt to the music you play, and from time to time idog will wag his head and raise or lower his ears in time to the beat. Throw in the doggy behavior -- he mopes if you leave him alone without music and growls when you turn him off -- and idog is a most amusing desktop companion. I am definitely looking forward to the idog bags, as it would be fun to bring him to a party, and the bags look like they would give his head the support he needs to travel without injury. I also saw a picture of the mini-mutt wearing one of his "chill sets" -- a hat, ear muffs, and sweater to ward off the cold weather -- and it was hilarious to be sure. I use rechargeable AAA batteries in idog and get hours of use on a charge. A great little pal for all the music lovers on your shopping list!
