Transformers Cybertron Scout Scattershot Review

(More customer reviews)It has been a long time since a basic has been this good. First, its transformation is neither simplictic nor overly difficulty. Like the previous reviewr says, this is an Autobot ready for war, with a twin-barrel pistol, missile that have no springs BUT can shoot out by pushing them out, with an effective distance of 8 inches. Add to this twin shoulder gatlings and the cyber-key empowered missle rack, and he looks like a Transformer should look like: ready to attack. If his legs were more poseable, he'd be the perfect basic.
Get him pronto.

Transformers Cybertron Ultra Scourge Review

(More customer reviews)Scourge has one of the coolest alternate modes of any transformer. This beast mode is very poseable for what it is, and is very cool. The head is great, and has joints at the base of the neck, the head, and the jaw. The planet key springs out two other heads next to the main one, making Scourge a three-headed dragon. Transformation is simple enough, yet engaging. Robot mode is just as menacing, but not quite as good. Here, his arms lack some poseability which was sacrificed for the beast mode. (For which I am very grateful) His tail undergoes minor adjusting to become an axe for him to hold. In all, solid robot mode, awesome beast mode, and a really cool toy.

Transformers Cybertron Scout Overhaul Review

Transformers Cybertron Scout Clocker Review

(More customer reviews)With every new transformers line comes the flood of reviews for all the Primes, Megatrons, and Starscreams. With all the established names and bigger bots being most fans' priorities in terms of purchasing and reviewing, it's easy to understand how the little basic t.f.'s, or "scout" class as this line is refering to them, would be over looked. This is also why most people don't know what there missing.
What Energon started, Cyberton continues as these are some of the best basic (yes, I know it's scout but for the sake uniformity let's stay basic) Transformers you could ever own and Clocker is quite a cut above the rest. First, let's focus on vehicle mode. Being from the speed planet Clocker's vehicle mode definetly conveys a sense of speed but if you look closely some of you older TF fans might notice something interesting. At first I didn't notice it until somebody else brought it to my attention but this little guy's vehicle mode bears a very nice resemblance to the vehicle mode of G1's Hot Rod. For me, being a long time fan of Transformers, this alone would convince me to buy Clocker and so...I did. Luckily for us this toy also offers a lot more than a G1 homage. While the color scheme doesn't match that of Hot Rod, Clocker's color scheme is quite appealing. The translucent blue of the windshield and wheels mixed with silver, light blue and orange really lend themselves well to the youthful autobot in both modes.
Speaking of other modes, after a simple yet clever transformation you're left with a very articulate little robot. His arms, while a little long, can move in and out shoulder 90 degrees or so, 360 around and at the elbow. Legs bend at the knee and have ball joints at the hips and his head turns 360 at the neck. All this articulation really makes for some nice posing. His Cyber Planet key feature (a hidden double barrel gun) works well in vehicle mode but seems a little clunky in robot mode but it's not too distracting. Even his side exhaust pipes can act as weapons by fitting them into his hands. With G1 homage and visually appealing vehicle mode and an articulate and equally visually appealing robot mode all for about $7, I really hope that Transformer fans young and old don't forget to pick up a little back up for their Optimus Prime.

Transformers Cybertron Scout Armorhide Review

(More customer reviews)I like Armorhide because he has a hook. It turns into a gun. And I like him because the window of his truck opens up. He is really easy to transform too. And you can open up the front of him and there are cannons inside. I recommend it for other kids.

Red Alert - Transformers Cybertron Deluxe Review

(More customer reviews)Red Alert was a great Armada figure, and now is a great, if smaller, Cybertron figure. In a smart move by Hasbro and Takara to emphasize the progress from Armada to Energon to Cybertron, Red Alert still very much resembles his former design of a few years ago, but is not an exact copy. Like his Armada version, he comes with removable tools which can be attached to one of his hands. These are less than an inch in length and should be considered if buying this toy for young children. His Key activated guns are so fast they seemingly flash out of nowhere. Chunky, stocky, colorful, and very durable for play, excepting the removable tools. One of the best Deluxe figures in this current line.

Transformers Cybertron Supreme Starscream Review

(More customer reviews)Okay, I've heard alot of bad things about this guy. Time to address them:
First of all, his cockpit size. Yes, it's not to scale with the other transformers. Thats because in real life, our buddy Starscream here here isn't this big. Which brings us to the next problem. Yes starscream is big. But personally, I like him big. For me big is good. Some people may not like it, but I do. True, he doesn't have much detail, but he still looks pretty cool, even close up. Next, the transformation. People say it's frusterating. Barely. Yes, the wings fall off sometimes. But not often enough for it to be too bad a problem. And if you move the pieces right, which is very easy to figure out, you should have no problem doing the transformation. Another problem I've read is his arms are to short. Yes his arms are kind of short, but I personally wasn't bothered by it. I guess it depends on how the individual person feels.
I know I said the educational value was five stars. It isn't really, I just said that to keep the average up. Oh and in case you were wondering, his crown can stay on him in vehicle mode too, without his head being overexposed.
Overall, I'd rate this guy 5 stars, 3.75-4.5 if your picky. If you only want this guy for play value, you might want to get the smaller one with Vector Prime. But if you like 'em big, and money isn't an issue, you should get this guy. It might be a good idea, though, to look at him in the store so you know what you're buying. Personally, I love him.

Transformers Cybertron Scout Undermine Review

(More customer reviews)Undermine is,like all of the "Jungle planet" Decepticons,a lizard.the other jungle planet decepticons are Scourge,Brimstone,and Wreckloose.Now undermine is a very sturdy little dinosaur.he may not have the best poseability,but he is loads of fun to play with.His robot mode head resembles a knights helmet from the middle ages.in dinosaur mode,he transforms into a nasty (in a good way) little green Spinosaur.His "cyber key gimmick" is actually very nice,you insert the key into his back fin,and a big grey,nicely detailed blade slides out of the fin.this little guy is a very nice figure,worth the money,and i highly reccommend him to any transformers fan
