(More customer reviews)And here we are at take off.... the ground performance was great and we even got it off the ground a few times. Followed abrubtly by a quick crash. Not really a problem for the body - the durable foam took it well. The first night out with it we flew/drove it for nearly 30 minutes.
Then the fun ended. No matter how long the battery was recharged, full power (needed for take off) lasts less than 10 seconds. It takes at least 30 feet on a flat surface to get enough lift. That's less than 0.5 seconds of flight if any.
The videos are impressive - but I'm depressed by the performance of this product. Perhaps it was merely a defective battery.

We got him LEGO Rahkshi 7138 and LEGO Hero Mark Surge 7169 for his last birthday and he thought they were the greatest thing! He's hoping to collect the whole set. They're LEGO and are quick and easy for a 9 year old to build. Younger kids should be able to build them without much help which is great for anyone whose had to help kids with Lego sets before.

Relatively easy to put together and fun for kids to play with. Around 10 would probably be the ideal age for a recipient of this.

(More customer reviews)Purchased for granddaughter age 10. She loves it. She likes to talk to it and especially being able to tell it secrets. She plays the music and dances and sings with it. There has been no problem with the way it works. The only suggestioon I have is that the remote will work two of them at the same time. Her friend has one and they had problems getting them to do different things at the same time as the other remote and her remote worked the other doll also.
