The only problem with this toy is that too loud, for being a spy equipment.

Room Tech Beingz Alarm Clock Radio - Magenta Review

(More customer reviews)we've tried a few other basic alarm clocks but they all failed to get my deep sleeper out of bed in the morning. Since my 9 year old is into all the interactive toys out there thought this one would be a fun one to try (fingers crossed) My DD loves to 'pet' the clock to see it 'smile', make music. The radio is alright but not the best to find many clear channels but its fine for a kid. We bought this clock and used it for the first time on Sunday. I was suprised that it was loud enough to get my DD out of bed, actually she even woke me up to tell me she couldn't turn it off! The only thing that could be better is if this clock radio was also a cd player. But very happy with this product. My DD is asking for the matching lamp for a holiday gift and I think it just may be under our tree.

(More customer reviews)My 8 year old just got this for his birthday. He's been having loads of fun with it. It's easy to control. Too loud to truly be sneaky but still fun. The video camera quality is quite good and the monitor on the remote is good as well. Nice resolution, but keep in mind it is a toy not a cell phone. It can clearly see across a 15ft room in light and the night vision will see a good 7ft with all the lights out. We haven't done any of the advanced computer-linked stuff or downloaded apps or that, so I can't comment on that, but it seems there are some advanced programming options to explore as he gets older.
There is a slight delay between the video/audio the camera receives and what you see/hear on the monitor but once you get used to it, it's easy to work with.
The camera will record video and still pictures and of course show where you are driving around. 10 AA batteries are required as well. 6/robot 4/remote
If there were one thing I would improve, I wish it had the ability for the camera to look up/down by remote control. You can adjust the camera up/down with your hand but once it's set it stays in that position until you manually adjust it. Not a big deal really. My son didn't even know it would move up/down at all until I showed him and he'd been having tons of fun seeing everything at feet level.
Seems like a quality well constructed toy that will provide entertainment for a long time.
