It has several different voices and you can combine the effects, to some degree to make about up to ten different voices. The instructions for voices on the back of the package was a little off, but it's not hard to figure out at all, a kid could figure it out all on his own in a manner of minutes. The mic not being attached to the rest of the toy is a nice design, but if you have a child that like to pull on stuff or twist it a lot this may not be for you. If your looking for something that will have a realish voice after it has been "transformed" this one is not for you.
