(More customer reviews)I purchased this toy knowing full well that it was going to be a poor substitute for a real dog, but also knowing that the little one I was purchasing it for wouldn't care. Our toddler loves puppies and we're not ready for one in our home. So, this fit-the-bill. I read the reviews and saw some video footage of the toy in action and I agree that the buyer should realize that in addition to making whining and barking noises, this puppy makes very loud mechanical noises as well. It's not all that soft and cuddly and the "sensors" to make it work are hard for a little one to manipulate. My husband says, "it sounds like it's sick!" This toy is a mixed bag. It's enjoyed by the littlest one, but made fun of by the bigger ones.

Kids Love it, they go crazy for this toy, act just as a live puppy.
