(More customer reviews)This is one of the most poorly designed Hot Wheels toys I've ever used with my 5 year old son. On its own, all it does is launch a car, which then triggers a robot to turn and launch a second car. Whee. However, the trigger to get the robot to turn and launch is really finicky - so most of the time you can only get him to turn, but not actually launch the second car.
If you're using this with other tracks or stunts, it really sucks. The car has to be travelling relatively slowly and have a blunt end to trigger the stunt. Then, as above, the robot usually misfires. Worse, even if it does fire, it's relatively low-powered so that you can't really use it to go on to the next stunt.
Yes, this is a lot of info for a stupid toy - but your kid will be super excited at the idea of car-launching robot, and then after you've opened it and can't return it, you'll realize it stinks. You can thank me later.

For starters, the plastic robots' footholds are pretty unstable, so any slight
unintended jolt will knock them over before you even start your Hot Wheels engines.
While the two included lipstick-sized rubber-tipped mega-missiles look and feel
like fire-power fun and will launch automatically when inserted into the Cyborg Blaster's
arm-hand-cannon, it is difficult to figure out how to get it to fire once you twist
the mechanism back by the Cyborg's hips.
Also not right is the car-driven reflex-pot mechanism that's supposed to trigger the action;
in this set, it doesn't really hit off.
Furtherless, the slot launcher of the smaller target droid doesn't get off either, seemingly stuck in its to-launch position.
(Will it take a kid's finger off when it does eject? Don't take a chance.)
So FAIL-FAIL on both ends of this misguided Rube Goldberg cyborging nightmare.
In the end, you're left to cannibalize parts, hardly worth the price of admission (of this cyborgian failure).
If Uncle Owen bought this Cyborg Blaster set from Jawas, he would surely be upset
and say, "Hey, what are you trying to pull on us?!"
Why did Hot Wheels put this particular half-baked contraption on the market for the consumer to be disappointed by?
They should know better and do better for their fan base.
Don't trust this Cyborg Blaster caster to work properly! Don't spend any money on it!

(More customer reviews)My two boys avoided the Wii and put down their bakugans to spend hours playing with this set. Lots of fun.
-- it's a multilevel rocketship with rooms, an elevator, stairs, doors, etc.
-- lots of little pieces and parts to add/remove/move around the set
-- large enough for them to mix in their matchbox cars, lego characters etc for even more fun
-- well made, with lots of detail in the painting and decal work. Lots to explore.
Parents take note: this set has an impressive number of parts coming out of the box, but once assembled it's just fine. Assembly took about a half hour but was pretty smooth.
