(More customer reviews)Mazinger Z was my entry level into the Anime genre (though it wasn't called Anime at the time). I used to have a plastic Mazinger toy when I was 3 years old. Yes I remember it well. This toy is quite expensive but I would've paid double for it. The metal construction is sturdy. You can move limbs about without worrying about it breaking. Comes with other weapon accessories. This product brings me great childhood memories.

The "R" in GX-01R officially means "Renewal Version"--but we're delighted to find that it can also stand for "Really Different!" This classy entry in the Soul Of Chogokin series is no mere color variation or slight retooling--this is a totally new Mazinger Z. It's slightly bigger and taller than the GX-01 released back in 1998, bringing the toy into perfect scale with not only the recent Aflodai, Minerva X, and other female robot Soul of Chogokin, but also the GX-02R Great Mazinger! GX-01R is mostly diecast, and entirely impressive! Comes with a slew of option parts led by a slick, re-sculpted Jet Scrander that puts the old version to shame; there's also a Hover Pilder and Jet Pilder, Iron Cutter and Rocket Punch arms, Missile Punch (to launch from a nicely detailed belly bay greatly improved from the GX-01's), a display base and more!

(More customer reviews)Look up the video on utube to see the best review. The reviewer takes the figure through all of it's transformational paces, Or just buy it and enjoy it I did & I am happy. The figure has white legs and white arms otherwise it isjust like the cheaper version but do not worry the legs and arms are metal where they are painted white and not plastic. There are more attachments and the base. Just buy it already you know you want it. I am glad I did.

This horny beast has unique detail and awesome head expression. The power ball strike that you put in it's hand
makes it look nasty cool.
My only comment and hope that the guys at Revoltech take it in consideration, is that the base instead of BLACK SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT. Most of these giant robot war figures kind of blend in the black base.
It would definitely look as if it was flying if the base is plastic transparent

Search by "Mazinger Z Dynamite Gokin Collection" in your search engine. That's what I received and I'm afraid what you will get too. I guess that's why the vendor doesn't give too many details about this thing!!
