Only one exception, yours to choose: power source you need to purchase separately, either the battery pack or the AC adaptor. I strongly recommend the battery pack, perfect for mobile robots.
The 50-page user manual describes eleven models, step-by-step. The models include static and mobile robots, as hand dryer, traffic light, lift, drying machine, tril searcher, soccer robot, laxn mower adn forklift, among others. Maps for trail searcher are included, as well as ready-to-use programs.
After playing with the eleven models, the kit provides enough elements to build imagination-driven new models and program them using the Robo Pro software.
Expandability is endless thanks to any fischertechnik kit. Everything is compatible.
This is a high quality German toy, perfect for children and parents to play together!
I've been playing with this toy for more than 20 years now!

(More customer reviews)The software is excellent and affords students interested in automation a quick and easy method of understanding the logic surrounding the process. Using icons for processing steps greatly aids in the understanding.
The written materials that accompanies the software fails to provide sufficient guidance for the advanced abilities that are available in the software. A revised version, written from a user's standpoint would be beneficial. The current manual reads like a programmers' manual.
