(More customer reviews)Received the movie verison of Optimus Prime from my father as a father's day gift, quite apropos as he spent a good chunk on the orignal transformers for me 20 years ago. This is an excellent transformer, both as a robot and as a truck. As a truck, I much appreciated the rubber tires and very sturdy constuction. The robot mode is very detailed, with many articulation points. Battery-powered lights and sounds are a nice touch. The only con is the complexity of the transformation. Maybe I am getting old, but the first time, it took over an hour to get the transformation right. Hasbro using picture-only instuctions did not make this any easier.

Gundam NRX-044 Asshimar HGUC 1/144 Scale Review

(More customer reviews)I love *ALL* Gundam Action Figure Model Kits, but I'm more partial to 1/100 scale or Master Grade kits because of the amount of detail the increased surface area allows. HOWEVER, this is the first High Grade (1/144) model kit I've ever bought, and I love it, especially for the amount of detail they fit into it! If you love Gundam as much as I do, I recommend taking a look at other model kits from the HGUC (High Grade Universal Century) series including the Gabthley and the Gaplant.
ON THE OTHER HAND: The price of this kit is a bit too high. I purchased from this particular merchant because it was more convenient at the time, but there are other merchants on the web that sell this particular kit for [...] (shipping and taxes not added). This kit, along with other model kits and toys, is *WAY* overpriced here on Amazon. I implore you to be wary of the price you're paying. ALWAYS compare.

(More customer reviews)My McFadden Pro-Bot is TIGHT. He's from Season II (the second year that the figure's came out). Too bad they didn't come out with him as a 12'', as those guys are pretty awesome, but I did manage to pickup the 12'' Roethlisberger, which I believe is exclusive to TRU (haven't seen him anywhere else, so he must be). Not sure why Amazon has this guy priced so high, as he's still available for $10 over at TRU. The 12''was something like $20 too. Both great buys.

This Prime is a revamp of the Deluxe mold used for Armada Prime, Armada Nemesis Prime and Battle-In-A-Box/Universe Ultra Magnus. Itâ?TMs a good mold, proportioned and heavily articulated, armed with forearm-mounted double-barrel blasters. The former three exploitations of the mold included a Mini-Con partner who doubled as a handheld gun, but in this case, apparently Prime, just like the upcoming Cybertron Demolishor, is equipped with a customized Cyber Key to work in concert with his Mini-Con ports. His color scheme corresponds with the upcoming Leader Class Cybertron Prime.Presumably, this is just a scaled down version of Prime released under the same alternate circumstance as his original Armada Counterpart. In the Cybertron continuity, Prime is the Autobot Commander, charged with a vast organizational task in the wake of the appearance of the Black Hole and the mass exodus from planet Cybertron. Especially once it becomes apparent that Megatron had once again reemerged, this time equipped with fragments of Unicron armor, Optimus attempts to gather all of the Cyber Keys in hopes of neutralizing the Black Hole. In order to do this, in some cases dealing with individual Autobot leaders such as Override of Speed Planet or Metroplex of Giant Planet, Prime is forced to proceed diplomatically, sometimes loaning out assignments to his trusted warriors.

Regardless of what I had read, I knew my boy of almost 4 years of age wouldn't be a happy camper if I didn't get him this for Halloween. I'm glad I did get it! I thought it was durable, not flimsy. IMO the price is reasonable and it served its purpose for Halloween. The mask is a bit difficult I'll admit- doesn't really line up quite right and it was a little hard for him to see out of but it didn't slow my little guy down at all. He was happy with it & so was I.

Rescue Heroes: Robotz Team Jack Hammer and C-Ment Review

(More customer reviews)My 2 1/2 year old really loved this set as his first real action figures. The figures are electronic and hooked together. Separately they each have sounds and voice but when connected together Jackhammer and C-ment1 actually communicate with each other as they tear up the roads and pave new ones. Kids love it because they can easily push the various buttons to hear the sounds. all the figures in th Rescue Heroes line are very durable and stand up well to the kind of abuse a pre-preschooler can dish out. Add to that the nice wide feet of the figures allow younger kids to stand them up quite easily as compared to normal action figures.
These are really fun, reliable and wonderful toys for young children. All of the figures have good storylines behind them. No small parts to worry about being swallowed. Good stuff!

Zoids Battle Cougar Action Figure Model Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I personally like this Zoid. It doesn't take too long to assemble (30 mins-1 hr), mainly because of the fact that it's basically a motor with a bit of armor on it. Once completed, the cockpit is removable (why they did this I'll never know), and it walks very smoothly. The wings and beak are fully poseable (aka not included in the motorization). The only problem is the tail; it falls out alot, so don't pick it up by the tail. When it's motorized it walks and the guns move up and down.
I'd get this Zoid while its this cheap.

This item is definitely intended for adults to put together and display, not for kids to play with. It is made of (though high quality) laminated foam core and plastic joints, both of which would not stand up to prolonged abuse by a kid. (More customer reviews)If this is like the other Blok Bots then: This is not a Toy to be played with. Hard to stay together. The box photos are deceptive. If you handle the toy in any way it comes apart. Not as good as Legos and cheap. Very complicated, and 185 cheap parts, we have and enjoy lots of building toys, but this is unnecessarily more complicated than the box shows, and won't stay together. Come on CEO, you can do better than this. The box photos are a laugh, the Blok Bot Cannot do what the photos say it can do with out a LOT of carefull work. And as soon as you touch it. IT COMES APART! My son is very dissapointed, he loves it but can't touch it. I'm gluing it together. So much for it's "transforming" ability.
