(More customer reviews)I picked this guy up today after seeing him and two others ( Gnarlos and Spitz) at the store. Snapson stood out b/c of his cute factor, i admit. Upon inspection, however, i'm quite impressed. While the mouth does clamp down kind of hard, it's also a good lesson for kids to NOT GO STICKING THEIR FINGERS IN THINGS' MOUTHS!!! (seriously, I applaud that in a way.) Aside from that, taking into account it is a 'cutsied' version of the animal form, I'm impressed that its color scheme is actually pretty on spot with most of the microraptor research i did. the detail in the mold is impressive, and while the sounds get a bit (annoyingly) repetative after a while, they are more jurassic park animal and less play skool idiocy.
They eyes for all of them are eerie, but amazing, and do a great deal to bring the toy to life. In addition, as far as Gnarlos and Snapson are concerned, the models look kinda similar to what i would consider a hatchling of their species to look like.
All in all this is a great little toy. I highly suggest it for the five and up crowd, or anyone who wants a little dino hatchling to keep them company. or confuse their cats/dogs.
