(More customer reviews)...and I thought it went well! I am a huge fan of Super Robot Wars and always wanted to try these model kit things. At first, the thing comes in a million pieces and the instructions are in Japanese, but if you look at the pictures and corresponding numbers on the plastic pieces, then you shouldn't have any trouble. Mind you, some of the pertinent information about the pieces themselves I was unable to read due to the language barrier, and I wound up breaking two pieces by accident because I couldn't read the warning about certain pieces being easily breakable. After that, I figured out what each symbol meant, just from common sense and educated guesses, but it still took some decyphering. Also, note: some of the pieces are extremely pointy! I cut myself multiple times on the tips of the armor pieces etc. When I was done, my hands felt like pins and needles were poking them from handling the pointy pieces.
It should go without saying, but when you are finally finished creating the model, you really can't play with it or move it around too much. The thing falls apart so easily, as I'm sure many models do. All in all, I was very happy with the detail of the model etc. and it was surprisingly fun to put together, even though it took me 2 hours just to make the arms! In total, it took me 6 1/2- 7 hrs to make the complete model. I would recommend this to a fan of Super Robot Wars or someone who likes to make these models.
