(More customer reviews)My almost 4-year-old boy received this for Christmas. He's a robot and construction fanatic and LOVES it! He's made lots of different creations, not just robots. I anticipate this toy set will keep his interest for several years.
My husband has used the toy to introduce my boy to some general engineering concepts. An unexpected benefit of the toy is that his preschool teacher mentioned working on hand strength as a prewriting skill, and it seems like putting the pieces together takes just the right about of strength and coordination to be a little challenging for him (the toy's recommended age is 8 and up).
One of the pieces in our 50 piece set did arrive broken, so I emailed the company. I have to say that I have never had such AMAZING customer service. My son received a replacement part within a few days. The contact person even emailed me before he sent the part to get my son's name, because he thought my boy would have fun receiving a package with his name on it. That was so incredibly thoughtful it made my day!
